Abstract. Subfertility is a worldwide medical issue observed among married people. This is a case-control study, aimed to investigate different markers of oxidative stress (MDA, CAT, and GSH) and gonadotropin hormones (LH and FSH) and prolactin among sub- fertile women in Babylon Province with addressing the potential link between the levels of hormones and measures of oxidative stress. Forty sub-fertile and forty fertile women were recruited in this study with almost identical in terms of their lifestyle and age. Results from ELISA indicated that the levels of LH and a ratio of LH/FSH were significantly higher (p value < 0.05) among sub-fertile women compared to the levels in fertile ones, while levels of FSH and PL were not significantly changed among groups. Sub fertile women experienced more oxidative damage (MDA) and lower antioxidant (GSH) p<0.001 compared to the fertile women. The correlation matrix measured among sub-fertile women indicated that CAT levels were positively correlated with LH and ratio of LH/FSH and inversely with FSH. In addition, levels of LH were also inversely correlated with GSH.
